    This is a great place! We eat there for breakfast, happy hour, dinner, special events – just about any time the opportunity presents itself. The owner and executive chef are so concerned about your total dining experience. And the regular staff make you feel like a part of the family.

    “Mike and his staff did an extraordinary job providing a very special wedding for our daughter and new husband July 23, 2011. Our daughter and her fiancée wanted an event combining sunshine (realizing they had no control over), good service, and excellent food; all of which was delivered perfectly by Nellie Green’s Restaurant.

    Our children were married outside on the patio, followed by a cocktail reception with a wonderful buffet inside (air conditioned) afterward. The staff’s attention to detail was exceptional and could not have been better.

    Thank you all for caring so well for our special event.”

    My husband and I absolutely love it!! The food is so fresh and there is something for everyone. We find the prices excellent and really enjoy the view. Another plus is the music on different nights.. nice touch.. we will return! Thanks Nellie Greens for such an easy and creative place to eat. ~

    The restaurant is charming beyond compare with it’s location on the riverfront. Service saw right on the mark and the food simply delicious. Highly recommend the New England clam chowder, a delightful array of appetizers and salads. Altogether for a party of 6 – a very enjoyable lunch and can’t wait to go back. ~

    After debating numerous times whether to go to Nellie Greens, my husband and I with my coworker decided to try happy hour – it was amazing. Half price drinks 4-6pm was great. We had $2 beers, $3 wines and my dirty martini was $3.50; you can’t go wrong. The calamari and mussels were both phenomenal and we finished the evening with sandwiches.

    We sat outside in the corner about 4:45 and by 7PM the entire outdoor patio
    was packed! For the drinks and apps, you can’t go wrong. We were having such a great time we forgot to use our gift certificate! Oh well, we WILL be back! ~

    Nellie Greens offers a wonderful package dining experience to its guests. Being greeted by the owner at the door makes for a great first impression and you know that you’ll be well taken care of. The dining room and outdoor patio are both elegant and casual— simple but sophisticated. The food is the real deal. Fresh ingredients, prepared simply with both beauty and expert attention to taste. Put simply, it’s a great place! ~

    Thank you so much for providing such a perfect venue for our party! Nellie Green’s was really the perfect place. Your staff is truly marvelous; very attentive and efficient and most pleasant to interact with. Many people commented on how delicious the food was and people who sometimes don’t finish one plate were going back for seconds!

    From the moment people arrived everyone seemed to go immediately into party mode, which was due in large part to the setting and your welcoming staff.

    Thanks again, and I look forward to having another function at Nellie Green’s. ~
